How Harry Potter Can Help You Train Your Dog
My wife LOVES Harry Potter.
The books, the movies, she knows the names, places and personalities of everyone and everything in the books.
Me, I like the movies but I’ve always been much more interested in the author, J.K. Rowling.
I think it is fascinating how she came up with the story on a train ride from Manchester to London and went on to become the first BA-BA-BA-Billionaire author.
What many people don’t know is that she had come up with the ending of her story before she ever started writing. In fact, she even wrote the last chapter of her Harry Potter series over 15 years ago. That way, she would know how the series ends and be able to tie everything together.
AND THAT, my dog loving friend, is THE BIG SECRET to training your dog.
Here’s the deal.
When I am faced with a dog that is jumping, pulling, chewing, barking, and going in the other direction when I call, “Come,” I always think about what the dog is going to be like when I am done training.
If I stay focused on how the dog is behaving that day I may give up and that is NOT fair to the dog.
Get a clear picture of what you want your dog to do. Put together a plan to get your dog to do the commands you want and to stop the behaviors that are annoying you.
Put that plan into action and you are well on your way to having the dog you’ve always dreamed of.
And you know what?
One of the best (and easiest) plans to put into action is The Ultimate Online Dog Training Course.
Videos show you exactly what to do and what your dog will learn and has helped many, many dog owners.
